Has carved out a niche selling software licences for hotels to better manage both the data they gather from clients and put it to better use to ensure customer retention. They wish to change the model of the software from server installed, to online (software as a solution). Existing sales team is ahead of target. Exit by sale, 3 years.

Prefabricated sections for construction, primarily residential structures. Targeting the Greater Vancouver area. Manufacturing and construction techniques are well established in Europe and parts of North America, where the market is largely saturated but little used in British Colombia.

Waste to ethanol. Process take solid waste (by preference) containing cellulose, to produce sugars. The products are then cleaned up and the sugars fermented to ethanol that is purified to fuel grade. Waste supply contract is on the table once funding is secured. Take offs for the ethanol are in hand. Site contract and planning are in place. Other suppliers of waste are available. EU requires a 20% mix of ethanol in petrol within the next few years, this is likely to rise. Technology demonstrated, with numerous similar projects in hand around the world.

A new end to end money transfer system has been developed but poorly marketed. The intention is to buy out the intellectual property rights and set about fielding the service on a wide scale. Approaches to governments in Africa have been favourable. Extensive scope to deal more generally in all money transfer activities, not just sending money home by the unbanked, also to service the unbanked of the developed world. Monetised primarily by fees from each transaction.
